I went into this film with an open mind (as usual!), but after an intriguing and stylish opening 10 minutes or so, I felt the story and characters went not much further. Too bad given the level of acting talent — e.g. Will Smith, Viola Davis — but a story about a team of the world’s most bad-ass villains, released from prison to, what else, save the world, should have been better. Not terrible, just disappointing (in the way that phrase is used by parents when scolding their children).
