You may be aware of the outcome of a famous British libel trial which pitted American author and academic Deborah Lipstadt against Holocaust denier and historian David Irving —the latter sued the former for calling him a liar in one of her books about the Holocaust — but this film keeps it interesting, with dramatic courtroom scenes and good acting by Rachel Weisz and Timothy Spall as the combatants, as well as compelling out-of-the-courtroom action among the legal teams.
