This tale of the clash between a teenage girl and the patriarchal society in which she lives is set in a Bedouin village in Israel and provides the audience with a window into a culture many of us know nothing about. A quiet but moving and powerful examination of the struggle of family whose members love each other deeply but are trying to fit in or find their place in society. (Subtitled.)
