Based on the events surrounding the terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon, this story is well-suited for a reunion of the team of star Mark Wahlberg (playing a Boston cop) and director Peter Berg (Deepwater Horizon, Lone Survivor). The pace is brisk (except for the early part where a number of characters are introduced), the action is intense and sometimes gripping, the America rah-rah is kept mostly in check, and the acting is good. Enjoyable cinema.
