A foreign film Oscar nominee from Sweden, this is the tale of curmudgeonly widower whose relationships with his neighbours (set in a neighbourhood where the residents have many rules to follow) is sweet, cliché-ish in parts, and will make you smile and tear up. Good performances. (Subtitled.)
