My reaction at the end of this psychological horror story was: WTF. (Please excuse my language.) Set in, what else, a post-apocalyptic future (in this case, a young family is holed up in a remote and boarded-up house, fearful of the dangers that lurk outside their door) where no one can trust anyone else other than family, this film has got mood (in spades) but the story becomes repetitive after not too long, and you’ll soon be able to predict what comes next after they come into contact with another young family looking for shelter. Unrelenting grimness.
