Laura Dern, Michelle Williams and Kristen Stewart play characters whose tales in three loosely interconnected stories are ones of everyday life, set in small town America, where small moments are the only moments on display. You can’t say much happens in this film, but I found it captivating nonetheless. It’s all about the characters, and the actors are terrific here. Storytelling par excellence, but if you are not up to a very slow-paced movie, it may not be for you.
