First things first: I went to this movie as a favour to someone (whose identity shall remain confidential), and I went with very low expectations (which unfortunately were not met). The best thing I can say about this film is that my admission was free (in dollar terms). Other than that, I’m afraid I could not locate one redeeming feature. Perhaps if I had read the books upon with this series was based, or even watched the two previous two films in this series, I may have had more appreciation for the more subtle and thought-provoking aspects of the story which I hopefully assumed were there, buried deep inside this story of love and S&M played out among the 1% of the 1%, but alas, the subtleties have escaped me. Perhaps you will have better luck.
