A sad but well-acted (fictional) tale set in Tehran of a teenage girl who, because of a bet about a boy, sets off a chain reaction that pits her against her parents (particularly her mother), teachers and friends.  Themes of modernity vs. cultural/religious conservatism; youthful rebellion; and living in a conservative society are handled well. (Impressive for a first-time director.) (Subtitles.)
