More than a follow-up to documentary filmmaker/director Barry Avrich’s (full disclosure: he’s my brother-in-law) Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project (from 2010), his new film gives voice not only to a number of Weinstein’s victims, but to the many women in show business who have had to suffer in silence harassment and abuse at the hands of powerful men. You cannot help but be impressed with the women in this film who have the courage to share their stories and their pain with a public struggling to find a way forward. A powerful and moving film.
