The Accountant of Auschwitz

A fascinating, troubling and thought-provoking documentary about the trial, in Germany, of Oskar Groning, nicknamed the title of this film given his role of stripping prisoners of their valuables at Auschwitz when they first arrived at the camp.  What made this trial a bit different is that Oskar was in his mid 90s when he went to court, and that he readily and frequently admits that the Holocaust took place, as well as his role in it (although he minimizes his contribution to the genocide, of course).  Very interesting discussions, archival footage and history, well told. (Some subtitles.)
