A straight forward documentary about the secret negotiations — in Oslo — between Israel (represented early on by folks outside the government whose work could be officially denied, if necessary) and the PLO that started in 1992 amidst a backdrop of terror. These negotiations result in the Camp David Accords. I wasn’t a big fan of the doc’s use of re-enactments of the meetings, but the use of archival footage, diary entries from some of the negotiators, and current day interviews with some of the deal makers, made up for this. This is a journey of hope and of sadness. (Subtitles.)
