A sweet and funny documentary about the late and great comic Gilda Radner, with enjoyable talking heads (Chevy Chase, Bill Hader, and others, some of whom are filmed reading Gilda’s letters and diary-type writings). Lots of funny clips from before her SNL days and beyond, as well as sadness as we glimpse her physical and emotional battles with the ravages of cancer. Not a deep portrait of this supremely talented lady who fought internal demons throughout her life, but well-done for what it is.
