The World Before Your Feet

Great idea for a documentary:  have a camera follow an entertaining person as he walks, over about six years, every street, bridge and park trail in New York City (apparently 8,000 miles worth!).  Unfortunately, the film seems to focus too much on our guide, Matt Green, than what this great city is all about. Matt doesn`t work much (although he is an engineer), relies for the most part on apartment-sitting for accommodation, eschews life`s luxuries, but loves to wander — he has already walked across the US.  It`s all about the journey here, but we don`t learn as much as we should/could about the city and its denizens.
