Elisabeth Moss is a standout as a once (in the 1990s) punk rock sensation who has not aged so well (drugs, drink, etc.) Moss is in every scene and it’s hard to take your eyes off her. She fully inhabits this role. The story plays out in separate vignettes, some slower-paced, some that fly by. The perils of stardom is not a new story, but it has rarely (in my experience) played out so powerfully on the screen. Quite an emotionally draining viewing experience — prepare to rest after seeing it.
