A lovely, informative and touching documentary about some of the people (mostly women) who make their living as backup singers for some of the biggest musical stars (Springsteen, Sting, David Byrne, Mick Jagger, etc. — each of whom appear as a talking head in the film). You’d recognize the voices of these back-up singers from recordings/concerts, but these highly talented people live in the shadows.
